Project Description
Nordstrom Pad Prep was a 6-level parking post-tensioned structural renovation. The SE corner of the 6 level parking garage was constructed overtop of an older structure while the entire East side of the garage was tied to the older structure.
The post-tension garage had to be methodically disconnected from the older structure. The scope of work included heavy Post tension beam shortening, complete column removal and relocation, and extensive beam structural enhancement to accommodate the removal of the old foundations.
