Project Description
The USPS Independence garage deck is a 13,000 SF conventionally reinforced elevated deck experiencing waterproofing failure beneath the deteriorating topping. The deck is the only dock access point for USPS trucks at this location.
JRCC executed major structural repairs, installation of new tapered foam and sloped to drain hot applied waterproofing, MEP systems, and installation of new fiber modified sloped topping slab. The project consisted of multiple phases allowing USPS shipping/receiving to remain in full operation.
